Andrea L. Jones

Andrea Jones is a licensed professional counselor and carries supervision credentials with the State of Louisiana. She has spent over 25 years at LSU as either an academic counselor or administrator for academic counseling programs. Her tenure at LSU includes serving as an academic counselor in Junior Division, the College of Arts & Sciences, the College of Human Sciences & Education, assistant director in The Center for Advising & Counseling, and Assistant Vice President & Executive Director of University College and the Center for Freshman Year. During this time, she has also served in many leadership roles on campus and within national and statewide professional organizations. 

Jones received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice, a Master of Education in Counseling from Southeastern Louisiana University, as well as a Certificate of Education Specialist degree from Louisiana State University.
