Sam Casseday
Residence Coordinator

I do this work to provide spaces where students can come to be together and feel that
they have a space on campus that provides them with the support and community that
ultimately defines their life outside of the classroom. Living on campus is an essential
part of the university and college experience and I like to be a part of making that
experience one that students can remember fondly.
"living on campus... is a built in way to make connections and meet people" - Sam
One thing I wish first-year students knew
How much support they have on campus! There are so many people on campus who are dedicated to making sure that they have everything they need to be successful.
What are your 'living on campus' credentials
I have lived on campus since my first year of college in 2019. I was an RA for three years at UNCA and then ran a total of 5 residence halls at Western Carolina University while getting my masters degree.
