The Cain Department of Chemical Engineering at LSU offers both a Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering, recognized nationally for excellence in education and research. With an average of nine Ph.D. and four MS graduates annually, 90% of its 60 students are Ph.D. candidates.
